Gothenburg harbor on the Hisingen - side is not just about the loading and unloading of ships but a lively district in strong development and modernization. Areas of preservation of the old residential culture and life, as well as new and forward looking is represented everywhere. The pictures are all taken from Norra Älvstranden/The Northern River Bank on the Hisingen-side, connected with Gotheburg mainland with bridges and ferry boats. Some photos are taken from the river Göta Älv, between Hisingen and the mainland and also Gothenburg mainland is seen in many pictures, photographed from the Northern River bank-side. The Northern River Bank is exciting to explore, strolling around, go on a journey of discovery of all parks, old houses, new modern architecture, cafeterias, restaurants, boutiques and the marinas, both for sailing vistors and locals. The promenades by the river Göta Älv are very well planned for long walks and sunbathing and very nice to sit down somewhere and watch boats and people along the riverbank.
