For the price, this was unbeatable. 15min taxi into old town. Not too far from the centre. The room was basic, but clean. Coffee/cake and donut shop next door are also both very good.

I spent four nights here, and for my travel style, it was perfect. The location was great, with buses and trams nearby, shops right next door, and even places to grab breakfast or dinner. What surprised me most was that despite the distance from the city center, it's still a city, a vibrant, happy city. This means it can be noisy in the evenings if your windows face the street, but that's just how a city sounds. I came to the capital and didn't want to be in a quiet, peaceful village, and anyway, it gets quieter after a certain hour. People like me, who live in the center of a big city, shouldn't be bothered by the sounds outside the window. The room had everything I needed, a well-equipped bathroom with a large shower, and, of course, very comfortable beds. If I ever return to Riga, I'll definitely stay here again. For the price, it's truly worth it. I recommend this place.
