Björsjöås Vildmark

The campsite on the farm, run by Peter, Yvonne, and Lena, is absolutely amazing! This fantastic trio makes you feel right at home. The natural beauty of the surroundings is breathtaking. Highly recommended for anyone who loves peace and nature. Don't forget to call ahead for a reservation!

I arrived around 18:30 with my bike after I came off the ferry from Frederikshavn - Göteborg. I called in the morning and got self-checkin instructions, but Lena (the host) was there anyway. She was very social and kind, and took some time to explain everything about the location. The chicken and sheep are very cute! The location is beautiful. Bring some earplugs, however, since at 4AM the rooster starts his morning already :P

We stayed here for 5 nights on our roadtrip in Scandinavia - with our caravan. This place is Swedish magic and stole our heart. The crew and specially Lena made us feel at home. The showers and facilities are comfortable and you can pick a great spot for your mobile home / caravan. Just between the chickens, cows and horses. We loved it. From there - quite some hiking routes are starting. We did one with our 3 year old son and it was perfect.

Such a sweet and wonderful place in a beautiful forest and close to a big lake. Rooms can be a bit stuffy and warm but are full of character. Richard is a great host and very helpful. Our 4 year old loved every minute there, including taking fresh eggs from the local chickens.

Our first trip to Sweden: we landed on this farmer camp site and left after 8 nights. I got ill the first 4 days, however my boyfriend enjoyed himself on the small cosy farmer camp site. There’s a beautiful lake, several short hikes, places to cook on fire and a few animals to keep you company. The other days we went climbing in Utby, Lexby and to visit Gothenburg. Keep in mind to call before you come. Clear communication. Reasonable prices. Pack some groceries because it’s 30’ towards the supermarket. Thanks to the host (Lena) for having us!
