Avid jumper and this is my home... Club. Love the atmosphere and the people here, wish it was summer all year long!

As a surprise birthday present for my wife I arranged a tandem parachute jump for her. I hadn't planned for it but somehow ended up doing it too and I don't regret it. It was a great experience and while there really weren't any more slots available for me to do the jump at the same time as my wife the staff and club members were nice enough to make it happen. My jump started out well and after shouting out a few profanities as the adrenaline surged, falling through the cold air at terminal velocity with the deafening sound of air rushing past was just awesome. As the chute deployed everything went silent and even though my heart was pounding rapidly I felt at ease while slowly gliding toward the earth, enjoying breathtaking views. Everything went well apart from a slight miscalculation of the landing wich sent us sliding quite some distance on the tarmac, ripping a piece off my instructors (no doubt very expensive) suit. Luckily he sustained no injuries apart from a bruised ego as his buddies cheered and laughed while the staff made sure I was ok. Jumping out of a plane from 3000m is something I think everyone should experience at least once in their life but sadly it is a bit pricey so it is not something you just go do when you feel bored but definitely something you can get hooked on.

Very good experience. Friendly staff and instructors. We had a perfect weather and the tandem experience was amazing. Many people jump here and hence it’s a very lively and well maintained place. They have a small cafe also. I reduced one star just for the price. Only bad thing - tandem jump is very expensive than the sky dive centers nearby Stockholm - maybe because this is the only dive center in Göteborg. So except price, it’s a recommended one :)
