In total, Konieczny has been nominated fourteen times (for the Aatrial House, the Open House OUTrialny House, the House from the Silesian Land, the Safe House, the Author's House and the Living-Garden House in Katowice and the Living-Garden House in Izbica, the Upheaval Dialogue Center in Szczecin and the Konieczny Ark, the House on the Way, Unikato, the Miedzianka Shaft and the Plato Gallery of Contemporary Art). It is the winner of the prestigious House of the Year award in 2006 for the design of the Atrial House, winning the World Architecture News competition for the best residential house in the world. In 2011, Robert Konieczny received the annual award of the Minister of Culture for outstanding achievements in the field of architecture, as the second architect in the history of this award. In 2007, he was included in the list of the 44 best young architects in the world by the "Scalae" publishing house. In the same year, "Wallpaper" magazine ranked the studio among the 101 most exciting architectural offices in the world. In 2008, Konieczny was also awarded the "Europe 40 under 40" – Europe's Emerging Young Architects and Designers, awarded by The European Centre for Architecture, Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum, to the best young designers in the world under 40 years of age. In the same year, the International Jury of the Museum of Architecture and Design in Chicago ranked the Atrial House and the Hidden House among the best buildings in the world.
